Retired Chairman Ed McIntire

Everybody has been asking what our retired Chairman has been doing, well this should show that Smart Choice Credit Union doesn’t come in to play like it used to. Ed is going strong at work and at play. What a great guy!

Ed Mcintire Retired

After 16 years of dedication Ed Mcintire has retired from the Board of Directors as it’s Chairman. Dr. Mcinitire was the driving force in chartering the Bradley Initiative Credit Union in 2003. ” Ed made it happen” said Denis Collins, the credit union’s President and CEO. Through hundreds of hours of meetings with the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions and local individuals, the credit union was opened on January 21st in 2003.
To this day the credit union has been a vital part in assisting it’s members to become financially educated.  Smart Choice Credit Union, as it is called today, is a Community Development Financial Institution that has continued it’s mission in providing financial solutions to the community. This was a vision of Eds that has continued for 16 years.
